Different Ways We Can Help – Without Surgery

Not every injury requires surgery. In fact, only between 10-15% of all our patients will require surgery. We offer a variety of advanced non-surgical treatments to alleviate pain, restore mobility, and help you return to the activities you love.

Bracing

Supports and stabilizes joints or injured areas to reduce pain, prevent further injury, and aid in faster recovery. Includes the following: Knee, Hip, Foot/Ankle, Shoulder, Elbow, Hand/Wrist, and Spine.

Casting

Immobilizes bones or joints safely to ensure proper healing after fractures, sprains, or severe injuries.

Crutches

Provides mobility assistance while reducing weight on injured legs or feet, helping patients move safely and independently.

Cold Therapy

Delivers targeted cold treatment to reduce swelling, inflammation, and pain after injury or surgery.

Deep-Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Machines

Promotes blood circulation in the legs to prevent blood clots and support safe recovery after surgery or extended immobility.

Neuro Muscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES)

Uses gentle electrical impulses to stimulate muscles, improve strength, and accelerate rehabilitation after injury or surgery.
We primarily use Breg products for all our DME.

Lone Star also has an Orthotist from Breg that comes into our office 1 day a week to evaluate/provide custom braces that our physicians prescribe, which eliminates the need for a patient to go elsewhere for custom bracing.
