Dr. Alfredo L. Marti graduated in 1982 from the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he achieved a number of honors, including Alpha Lambda Delta, Freshman Honor Society; Delta Theta Mu, College of Arts and Science Honor Society; Alpha Epsilon Delta, Pre-Medical Honor Society; Phi Kappa Phi, Scholastic Honor Society; Dean’s List and the President’s Honor Roll.
From 1982 through 1983, Dr. Marti completed his post-graduate internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. Upon completing his internship in 1983, Dr. Marti began his residency in anesthesiology with Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, where he also served as Anesthesiology Team Chief from 1984 to 1985.
Following his residency, Dr. Marti gained further experience in private practice, as well as partnerships in group practices with Fort Worth Anesthesiology Consultants, PA, Medical Center Pain Management Associates, PA, and Baylor Surgical Hospitals located in Fort Worth and Trophy Club.
Dr. Marti has extensive experience in anesthesiology, including interventional pain management, invasive monitoring, cardiac, vascular, obstetric, regional, pediatric, and neurosurgical anesthesia. Also among his accomplishments, Dr. Marti holds an airline transport pilot license, a brown belt in karate, and enjoys hiking, Jeeping, and snow skiing.
